This contribution presents the results of physical development and body composition parameters which are suggestive of obesity in younger school age children. The aim of this research is to test the effect of aerobic activity in reducing risk-bearing obesity factors. Fifty-five younger school age children took part in this research. The experimental group consisted of 24 subjects (17 boys and 7 girls) aged 6.62±0.31 years. The control group consisted of 31 subjects (22 boys and 9 girls) aged 6.78±0.3 years.
