We aimed to evaluate the association between self-rated health (SRH) and the risk of incident type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2D). This cohort study consisted of 250,805 Korean men and women without T2D at baseline. SRH was assessed at baseline with a self-administered structured questionnaire.
